Architecture is rarely simple. Our process is.

We focus our attention on our clients - to understand their vision and to appreciate what they're asking for, even when they can't quite put images into words. We put creative ideas on the table. As the design takes shape, we learn what works, then immerse ourselves in it until we make it work even better. In the end, we arrive at a solution that pleases and delights our clients. We look forward to doing so for a very long time to come.

Recipient of the Texas State Golden Trowel Award

The Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter Chancery was the winner of the statewide Golden Trowel Award. This office building was seamlessly integrated into the 30-year-old parish of Our Lady of Walsingham as the first phase of an expansion program.

Each year the Texas Masonry Council recognizes outstanding architects with this award. It cited Jackson & Ryan Architects' carefully detailed effort to evoke the historical atmosphere of the architectural style preferred by the Ordinariate - from the cast stone and wood-trimmed arched windows, to the original artwork commissioned in Italy, to the intricate use of the Golden Section proportion in determining the placement of every line, window, door and string course on the facades.
