Pam Camargo moved to Houston in 1973 and considers herself a native Houstonian. She graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in 1989. She received her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture in 1994. Prior to graduation, she attended the Centre D’Etude D’Architecture et D’Urbanisme in Saintes, France,

where she studied western European architecture.
After receiving her degree, she focused on multi-family residential architecture with two local firms. She joined Jackson & Ryan Architects in 1998, developed her career around the management of religious projects, including Houston landmarks St. John the Divine

Episcopal Church and St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. More recently she has focused on educational and civic projects including Looscan Houston public library and St. Theresa Education Center. In her spare time, Pam renovates old bungalow style homes in the Houston Heights area. Pam is a registered architect in the State of Texas and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
