Quail Creek is a 40-guestroom, three-meeting room, 25,000-square foot addition to the existing Cheyenne Mountain Conference Resort. The new building was sited in such a way as to integrate with the natural topography and to maximize the picturesque views of Cheyenne Lake and Pike’s Peak. The stone and timber detailing of the existing buildings were carefully detailed to blend with the context as well as improve their weathering characteristics thereby reducing future repair costs.
