A 6,000-square foot chapel for a nursery-through-twelfth grade private girls’ school located in the wooded Memorial neighborhood on the west side of Houston. Seating for 250 is designed for flexibility to respond to the school’s varied liturgical activities. The client desired an intimate space appropriate for children and a place where the spoken word and live musical performance would not require sound amplification.
