The Oxyde Chemicals office building is a single floor, 14,000 square foot building containing two suites with a common lobby. The goal was an intimate, one-story building for the client’s expanding business, appearing more personal and friendly than a typical office building. Large windows and high eaves were incorporated as well as a tower to highlight the lobby from the street. The masonry veneer and full growth trees saved on site give a feeling of permanence. The final product was an intimately scaled, welcoming office building.
