The scope of work for Saint Cecilia Catholic Community included an extensive renovation of their existing parish facilities, an addition to their school, and a new campus central plant. The project presented many challenges to the design team. The new addition would need to tie together the interior and exterior aesthetics of several different buildings constructed over the last 60 years. The building committee was also charged with increasing the energy efficiency of the campus. Finally, the construction of these efforts would have to be phased to allow the church and day school to both function without interruption.
