Jackson & Ryan Architects performed needs assessment, programming, master planning and conceptual design services for the parish of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Phase Two includes a new school for K-8 grades with a gym, athletic fields, and playgrounds. The gym houses basketball and volleyball courts, a stage, storage, locker rooms, athletic offices, a snack bar, and a youth room. Clerestory windows let natural light into the gym and provide views from the second floor youth room. The floor of the gym lobby is designed with a wave motif out of which a dolphin, the school mascot, flips into the locker rooms. Other site amenities include playground equipment, an outdoor amphitheater and a soccer field with a viewing terrace.
