The Women’s Home Affordable Housing Project will be a singles-only complex for employed women and will be located west of downtown Houston. It will contain 87 single bedroom apartment units along with a Common Building supporting offices, a living area, and an exercise room. There will be easy access to a local park across the street as well as a designed green courtyard for resident use. Nearby transportation hubs will serve the residents as the number of parking spaces is reduced to fully utilize the site for green space and to decrease automobile dependence. The location allows the residents to take advantage of the nearby shopping, schools, job proximity, and other infrastructure.
