Julian Pittman, AIA, Principal
Julian Pittman was born in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Environmental Design. In 1992, he was granted a full scholarship to Rice University, where he graduated in 1994 with a Master of Architecture. After graduation, Julian moved to Washington, D.C. He worked for the internationally renowned lighting and museum exhibition design firm of George Sexton Associates until 2002. There he managed projects in Hawaii, Florida, New York, England and Switzerland, and he had the opportunity to work in association with such notable architecture firms as Tadao Ando Architects, Rafael Viñoly Architects and Foster + Partners Architects. At Jackson & Ryan Architects, Julian is the Principal whose roles include project management, project architect, lighting design, technical review, site administration, and team coordination. Julian has experience in a variety of project types, including high-rise multifamily, office, civic, retail, and museum projects. Julian is well-known for his collaborative approach. Julian joined Jackson & Ryan Architects in 2003.
